Hello, my name is James Irwin and I am the owner of Health Insurance 65+. I am an entrepreneur at heart.

First and foremost, I love this business. Work isn’t work for me. This is why I created these online businesses. As a certified senior advisor, we are in the business of aging. The sole reason my company is in business is to make life less difficult for our clients. I have been serving the senior community for over 20 years. I used to be seen by my clients as an adopted son or even grandson. Now since I am in my 60ʼs I am more of a good friend or brother. It is fun to work with cohorts. It’s fun to work with people who grew up watching the same tv shows and listening to the same music. And saying the same things to their kids their parents said to them like “ You brought this on yourself “Don’t make me pull the car over” ”Hold your horses” Close the door you weren’t born in a barn” and of course “ One day you’re going to thank me “ All in all I am happy and grateful to serve.

Prior to this encore career, I was #1 producer for many years with one of the largest Senior Insurance Agencies in the USA for many years in a row. After earning numerous sales awards and traveling the world on incentive trips.

I was promoted to a top upper management position within the organization. Due to personal choices and corporate consolidations, I decided to leave the company and start Health Insurance 65+.

Outside of work, I have a fantastic wife and four lovely daughters. I have always enjoyed kids. My first job was working at a nursery school and I have served in Children Ministries. I am a licensed Captain and enjoy sailing and offshore powerboating. In the past, I have raced cars and motorcycles. My car license plate says NVRLA8 and my motorcycle plate says 185MPH so I promise fast service. It’s in my DNA
